Shake maps and comparison with recordings

The map below (Figure 1) shows the interpolated values of PGA of the stations of the RAN network (last accessed 25/05/2012).

The map below (Figure 2) shows the median values of PGA predicted with the Bindi et al. (2011) ground-motion prediction equation for soil type C for the horizontal component, plotted on top of the recorded values of PGA at the recording stations of the National Strong Motion Network (RAN) and the Strong Motion Network of Northern Italy (RAIS). The map below (Figure 3) shows the median values of PGA predicted with the Cauzzi and Faccioli (2008) ground-motion prediction equation for soil type C for the horizontal component, plotted on top of the recorded values of PGA at the recording stations of the National Strong Motion Network (RAN) and the Strong Motion Network of Northern Italy (RAIS).
