Liquefaction has been observed in the area of San Carlo di Sant-Agostino (as reported in www.corriere.it – article in Italian – and directly observed by the Eucentre Field Teams).
The National Institution of Geologists will be sending teams into the field to carry out investigations on the local effects such as liquefaction, ground deformation and surface faulting in the Province of Ferrara.
