This post presents some photos and observations from the Eucentre field teams when they visited a damaged bridge in San Benedetto Po.

Damage Typology

Previous damage (concrete cover ejection) and evident subsidence of the spans. The axis of the bridge is not centered with respect to the foundation piles, resulting in differential subsidence of the bridge (approximately 20 cm).
