Report from the New Zealand Society for Earthquake Engineering on preliminary impacts of the August 10, 2026 Colombia earthquake.
This report presents preliminary findings from the New Zealand Earthquake Reconnaissance Programme (NZERP) – Virtual-NZERP team following recent seismic activity in Colombia. Based on remote observations and preliminary datasets, the team has compiled and analysed building performance, material vulnerabilities, and regional damage patterns to understand the structural impacts of the event.
