Convened by the U.S. National Science and Technology Council’s Subcommittee on Disaster Reduction, the Workshop on Rebuilding Resilience was co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development and the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction, and organized by the IRIS Consortium with support from NASA, the National Science Foundation, and the U.S. Geological Survey.
