An interdisciplinary team with expertise in tsunami hazard assessment, mitigation, education, and outreach visited Chile from March 26 to April 3, 2010. The team focused on identifying the factors that effected the impacts of the February 27, 2010 M 8.8 earthquake and ensuing tsunami.
