The seismic action was mainly oriented in the longitudinal direction of the church, and this damaged the central arcade of the nave, with widespread shear cracks and damage in the arch voussoirs. Vast areas of the nave walls show moderate and severe damage. It is also possible to notice an evident overturning mechanism of the facade. It was possible to observed interaction between the perimeter walls and the wooden A-frame, which caused moderate localized damage, and local collapses of the structure of the vaults, which were severely damaged. The bell-gable also showed significant level of damage, with the activation of a mechanism in the voussoirs of the barrel vault and local collapses.
