DigitalGlobe

September 28, 2017

DigitalGlobe has been actively supporting a number of disaster response events through their Open Data Program.

They’ve recently activated open data events for Harvey, Irma, Maria, and both Mexico earthquakes. You’ll see the pre and post event satellite imagery published for each event, along with vector data for damage assessments that they conducted with their crowd-sourcing platform. They’ve got ongoing tasking of their constellation over affected communities and are releasing those imagery as soon as they have them. Through the site, anyone can sign up for alerts as to when they activate and add new data to existing activations.
