In November 2020, the Clearinghouse hosted two virtual workshops that used the week-long July 2019 California Earthquake Clearinghouse activation as a backdrop to discuss clearinghouse operations, clearinghouse coordination with earthquake response including the state’s building tagging and Disaster Service Worker programs, and continued efforts in post-earthquake investigation data collection, coordination, and dissemination. The two-hour workshops include presentations from the California Geological Survey, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, the U.S. Geological Survey, FEMA Region 9, and the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute.
