This report is published on 25th of March 2011, two weeks after the Great East Japan [Tohoku-Kanto] Earthquake and Tsunami. The aim of the report is to synthesize certain existing data with basic situation analysis. The disaster has posed a major challenge to the disaster risk reduction community, which needs to be discussed in future over the course of time.
