The International Federation of Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Nepal Red Cross partnered to provide updates via text messages to earthquake survivors.

Trilogy Emergency Relief Application (TERA) is a location-based SMS service which will provide important messages about hazards and health concerns during the recovery process. This is especially important because monsoon season will start in a few weeks.
